Job Vacancies:

Sales & Administration - Bayswater (VIC)

Lamp Replacements Australia is a national organisation specialising in lamps and lighting products.  We have branches in O'Connor, Osborne Park, Queensland and Victoria. We currently are seeking an internal sales and adminstrator (ie shopfront) to join our friendly team in our Victorian branch located in Bayswater.

We will require an enthusiastic team member in their field who has proven experience in a retail and specialist wholesale business; who can multi task and who can provide a high level of sales and administration expertise. In short we need a “can-do” person who is happy to multi task and have variety in their role.

The Internal Sales role will be diversified and will incorporate duties such as customer sales (shop front and telephone orders), advising customers on lighting matters and recommendations, assisting in the packaging and sending of orders, inputting of invoices.  Working with a close nit team you will also be assisting with administration type duties (ie banking, running of statements, customer receipting) and end of day duties in close liaison with our head office in Western Australia.

The role requires an individual with a high level of initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop rapport with individuals easily as there is quite a lot of contact with customers in a busy work environment. 
Knowledge of lamps and lighting is preferred, as is an electrical or wholesaler background.  Ideally we are seeking applicants who have a wholesale or electrical background and who have sales and administration experience.  However in saying that if you are versatile, have solid work experience and are a quick learner we are happy to train the right person into our specialised field.

The advertised position requires an accountable, reliable and results driven individual who is very much a team player.  Computer knowledge and a current driver's licence are essential.  In return we offer a supportive and friendly work environment for the right person.

Part-time Sales - Brisbane (QLD)

Our Coopers Plains branch has an open position for a proactive, motivated and experienced individual to join our team of friendly staff. The role will initially be for 45 hours a fortnight, however there is potential for extra hours depending on branch requirements.

Duties include sales, quotation creation, order/stock management and processing, product advice to clients, and the resolution of customer problems and issues if they arise.  Additionally you will be responsible for the store and ensuring strict stock control (ie timely goods receiving and despatching).

Working in a small team, this role requires someone with a high level of motivation in a competitive industry. As this role is highly interactive, it will suit an individual with a high level of initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop rapport with individuals easily. A proven track record in previous sales experience from an electrical or lighting background will be highly regarded.  However candidates with a proven successful sales portfolio in another retail industry will also be highly regarded.  Computer knowledge is essential. Salary can be negotiated depending on experience.
